“Priced at just $99 and already available in over 40 countries, the JamboPhone is more than a device; it's a bridge to the Aptos ecosystem, seamlessly integrated through pre-installed applications such as Petra, a leading Aptos-compatible wallet, and the Jambo App.” The statement read.
With the smartphone, Aptos aims to onboard new users into Web3 via the Jambo App. The application comes with a suite of customizable features and educational content on decentralized finance, gaming, and other Web3 verticals.
“By prioritizing accessibility and education, we aim to ensure that the benefits of technological advancement are accessible to all, paving the way for a more connected and empowered global community.” Aptos wrote.
The JamboPhone rivals Solana’s saga price-wise, given that the latter first launched at $1,000 before being discounted to $599. Saga’s second smartphone line is currently receiving pre-orders, priced at $500.
