“This is a portion of the 900 million STRK dedicated to the Provisions program (out of 1.8 billion STRK dedicated to the community in total),” The foundation wrote.

Users can claim STRK on Starknet Mainnet starting at 12pm (UTC) on February 20th, 2024. Those who stand a chance to claim the airdrop include “individuals who have demonstrated a track record of support for Starknet’s values.”

This includes Starknet users, StarkEx users, members of the Starknet community, Starknet developers, Ethereum developers, EIP authors, Ethereum stakers, members of the Ethereum Protocol Guild, and GitHub developers.

Per the foundation, the STRK token “is set to play an important role in several aspects of the Starknet network,” including staking, participating in governance votes, and paying transaction fees.
