Shiba Inuโs community has patiently awaited the release of Shiba Eternity Play 2 Earn, SHIBโs collectible card game powered by blockchain technology. The mobile version of Shiba Eternity has succeeded among Android and iOS users, surpassing other popular card games like Uno upon launch in October 2022.

The upgraded blockchain version is set to allow players to earn passive income while playing the game, employing the Shiboshis NFT collection to alter the game story by receiving power-ups and special traits ascribed to the Shiboshi.
In an AMA session, lead developer Shytoshi Kusama answered questions regarding the availability of Shiba Eternity P2E. On the official channel of Shibarium Tech on Discord, moderator DaVinci asked, โWhen can we start testing the game?โ Kusama replied, โTo my understanding, beta next quarter.โ
Why Is Shiba Eternity P2E Crucial for SHIB?
Besides adding a personal aspect to the gaming experience, the original 10,000 Shiboshis NFT collection will serve additional purposes, like bonus levels and in-game privileges. Shiboshis are limited to 10,000, so a non-fungible token (NFT) renting system will be placed on Shiba Eternityโs blockchain version.
The Play 2 Earn (P2E) version of Shiba Eternity bolsters Shibarium Layer-2โs adoption and potentially accelerates SHIB burns. While testing out their fighting skills in The Dogjo, gamers can earn in-game currency, $TREAT. While this token has not been launched yet, Shiboshi holders can partake in all earning opportunities.
Confirmed to be in testing mode by several Shibarium Tech team members, Shiba Eternityโs Beta launch is now slated for Q2 of 2024. Meanwhile, Shiba Inuโs main token, SHIB, embarked on a double-digit rebound rally after witnessing a gradual market correction with a 17.7% drawdown since last week. At press time, SHIB is changing hands at $0.00002812 after reaching the daily heights of $0.00002992.
