Shiba Inu’s top-level domain (TLD) partner is preparing to launch .SHIB name tokens for Shiba Inu fans. The Web3 startup D3 Global first announced a partnership with SHIB Token in December 2023.
Ahead of the early access launch on Tuesday, March 5, at 13:00 UTC, D3 Global shared a sneak peek of the upcoming event. According to the official description, the early birds can secure their desired .SHIB names for a discounted price.
The tiered system encompasses longer and shorter domains. For example, if a SHIB Army member gets a four-letter customized name, it will likely fall into the premium names category. Premium tier .SHIB domains would set the user back $50, while longer, standard-level .SHIB domains like important.SHIB, challenge.SHIB or technology.SHIB costs $10 per name, based on the price estimate for a yearly term.
How to Get the Exclusive Discount
As D3 Global is unfolding, the early access for .SHIB Top Level Domains (TLDs): Prominent members of the SHIB Army can get their hands on an additional 69% discount, which could be used on their first shopping cart and is limited to the first 20 .SHIB domains.

Key SHIB community stakeholders and members are set to share special access discount codes in the next few days. These special 69% discount codes can be used during the early access period. They will be shared across Shiba Inu’s social media by lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, marketing lead Lucie S, and the official handles of Shiboshi and SHEboshi digital collectible projects.
The .SHIB customizable names allow for an easily-readable multi-chain wallet identity, which is crucial to avoid the rising phishing scams. On top of that, this domain dramatically reduces the possibility of human error, as crypto enthusiasts won’t need to copy-paste the memorable crypto wallet addresses.
