  • Daily transactions on Shibarium ‘puppynet’ soared to a new all-time high.
  • Shiba Inu token gained 2% following the news, and SHIB Burn dropped 75%.

After last month’s top-notch SXSW Experience in Texas, Shiba Inu developers published the April update for SHIB: The Metaverse. The virtual world project for Shiba Inu (SHIB) community has been in the works for over two years in partnership with the audiovisual studio The Third Floor (TTF).

On top of that, the SHIB Token team launched a free giveaway of ten LANDs in the upcoming metaverse. To qualify for the prize draw, crypto enthusiasts simply have to follow the new official Twitter handle and retweet the message below.

Rocket Pond – Next Up?

The next dot in SHIB: The Metaverse roadmap points to the Rocket Pond, where blockchain gamers can acquire and build on 42 x 42 LANDs. Totaling 4,151 meters (44,681 feet), a character would take approximately an hour to walk around the plot.

Aside from SHIB: The Metaverse LAND sweepstakes, the team introduced two new features: the Avatar Builder and Game Maker. To illustrate, a metal gray 3D Ryoshi avatar was presented to the SHIB Army, but it’s unclear if the Avatar Builder will support Shiboshi NFTs.

A dedicated team of experts and the Unreal Engine makes the super realistic first-person graphics possible. The next in line for a 3D flyover experience is Rocket Pond, the HUB dedicated to mystery, serendipity, and the aim of reaching new heights.

SHIB: The Metaverse Launch Date Revealed

Among many exciting developments, the blog post also revealed that the community should expect a complete SHIB: The Metaverse launch by the end of 2023. The team recently released WAGMI Temple, the first HUB in the series—the SXSW Experience in Austin, Texas, garnered critical acclaim from Forbes.
