In a Las Vegas conference, Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse has publicly praised the XRP holder community, popularly referred to as XRP Army. This happened at the MGM Las Vegas between May 30 & 31, 2025. Collecting the biggest audience so far, this crypto conference featured a couple of Ripple executives who shared their XRP adoption vision.
Going “from strength to strength”, Mr. Garlinghouse acknowledged in the panel that “the last few years have been tough”. Right after that, he gave kudos to the XRP Army, dishing out a genuine “thank you” message for sticking with the popular remittance altcoin. Naturally, Ripple’s Boss Brad Garlinghouse is referring to the fresh win in the SEC vs. Ripple case.
Regulatory Wins Yet To Mirror On XRP Price
Constantly trending on X, the XRP Army is untiring. While it’s true that the current settlement in the 6-year old Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawsuit is being stalled due to discrepancies in the legal process, it’s undeniable that a $50 million settlement and the Ripple coin’s status as a non-security has potential for a long-term XRP price appreciation.
Truthfully, the final resolution was denied by District Judge Analisa Torres, but this is not the only legal pause. In a different Ripple & XRP-related case, the SEC moved to delay Ripple exchange-traded fund (ETF) submissions, asking for the public’s opinion on the altcoin’s compatibility with traditional stock markets.
