$1B XRP Treasury’s Delay Notice: What Happened?

Instead, it’s now expected to debut on NASDAQ next week, on October 12, 2026. The delay notice appeared on Evernorth’s website overnight. This doesn’t affect the status of the recent merger deal: Armada II shareholders already approved it last week.

What it does affect is the timing: administrative delays could even turn out in favor if the market conditions are better. Besides, there’s no fundamental barriers to completing the transaction.

The most important legal step was completed on September 30, when shareholders of Armada Acquisition Corp. II unanimously approved the merger & corresponding Form 8-K was filed with the SEC, as shown in DailyCoin’s previous coverage of the story.

Currently, Evernorth’s treasury counts over 473 million in XRP tokens, while another $300 million in cash equivalents makes the approximate valuation of this treasury exceed $1 billion.

Presently, the big question is whether the demand on NASDAQ meets XRP Army’s expectations. As seen in previous cases, administrative delays of this kind often raise the immediate enthusiasm, so the first New York session could be instrumental in terms of liquidity.
