XRP Defends Price Bottom, $1.50 Comes Back Into Play

XRP’s price may retest the $1.35 – $1.38 support bubble before a wider rebound, latest research from Bitrue Research Institute suggests. The Institute’s artificial intelligence (AI) powered crypto indicators show a clear discrepancy between the buying appetite on Futures markets despite the sentiment not matching Spot markets.

Upward XRP Price Bets Stack Up Against Bears

“The real tension right now lies between crowded leveraged longs and quieter whale activity,” said a senior analyst at Bitrue Research Institute. “Bitrue AI is already flagging the risk through its Neutral momentum, Flat trend, and elevated long-ratio readings. We expect XRP to test the $1.35–1.38 zone first before any meaningful rebound can develop.”

The assumption is that a crowd long setup like this could cause a sharp liquidation cascade if XRP’s price is met with another pullback. On the other hand, the crypto whales haven’t been actively supportive of XRP’s local price bottom.  Even though the overall trend points to reduced exchange-side supply, big players have refrained from big inflows too.

XRP’s Bulls Must Defend This Level Before $1.50

Judging from the stats provided by Bitrue Research Institute, the three-month average of whale inflows has dramatically plunged to $61 million – that’s the lowest record since 2021. Presently, the $1.38 support line is the center point of any bullish discussion: if held, XRP breaks out of the higher support zone boundary towards $1.50, with $1.45 as a crucial check-point.

Other momentum indicators are slightly on the bearish side. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 45.05, slightly oversold, while the MACD trendline sits below its signal line with a negative histogram. The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) has also been dwelling in slightly negative direction on most time-frames, except for the four-hour charts as XRP bulls defend $1.38.

Right now, XRP’s price is bound for another fundamental test: if the buying momentum among whales returns quicker, the Wall Street developments may have a lot to do with it. XRP-based exchange-traded funds (ETFs) still pulled in $11.3 million in cumulative  5-day inflows, while Evernorth’s XRP-only treasury is set to debut on NASDAQ today with the XRPN ticker.

Collecting these bullish pieces together, the $1.50 resistance barrier seems plausible to breach in the near-term. However, the lack of broader big-time player conviction could send the altcoin to more-attractive liquidity pockets between $1.35 to $1.38 before returning to that price level.
