Shiba Inu’s SHIB: The Metaverse to Be Featured at SXSW Texas

Shiba Inu’s highly-anticipated metaverse will be unveiled in the annual SXSW conference.

  • Shiba Inu’s Web3 project will be displayed for the first time in Texas.
  • The annual SXSW Experience in Austin starts on March 12th, 2023.
  • SHIB dropped 5% after the news, BONE went through market correction.

The official SHIB Token team is preparing to take crypto and Web3 enthusiasts on the first virtual tour around the highly-anticipated SHIB: The Metaverse. The first glimpse into the project in development with The Third Floor (TTF) will start with a panel including Marcie Jastrow, the official SHIB: The Metaverse advisor, and two members of the audiovisual studio – Connor Murphy and Chris Edwards. The panel will take place on March 12th, 2023, at 10 AM local time at SXSW Texas.

Shiba Inu’s Texan Happy Hour

SHIB: The Metaverse project will be featured as one of the XR Experience Spotlights. After the “Ready, Set, Metaverse! Creators Come Together” panel discussion, the SXSW Experience will continue with a metaverse musical performance and other presentations meant to “explore the rapidly evolving technology landscape.”

However, one of the top moments of the conference will be Shiba Inu’s WAGMI (We’re All Gonna Make It) Temple’s revelation. While the conceptual artwork of this HUB was presented last year, Shiba Inu’s Metaverse team also introduced Tech Trench, Canyon Hub, Rocket Pond, and Growth Dunes. Shiba Inu’s metaverse project is centered around ten different HUBs for various metaverse activities, from embracing the scenery to collaborating with community members on Shibarium-compatible projects.

Ultimately, SHIB Token’s team invites crypto aficionados to join them at the SXSW premiere of the metaverse and declares Happy Hour on March 11th, 2023, where the SHIB representatives “wrap up press day and to kick off the SXSW Interactive track” with a free giveaway for crypto enthusiasts in the Departure Lounge at Fairmont Austin.

More Selling Pressure on Shiba Inu

Most Shiba Inu community members are waiting for Shibarium, the self-sufficient blockchain that will detach the canine token from Ethereum’s network. Indeed, Shiba Inu (SHIB) was created as an ERC-20 token but later was made compatible with other popular blockchains like BNB Smart Chain (BSC).

While the Shiba Inu developer team is ambitious to launch SHIB: The Metaverse, it’s important to understand that the Web3 project can’t go live without the Layer-2 solution. Thus, a large chunk of the community is rushing the developers on social media to release Shibarium as soon as possible. According to the lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, the upgrade is supposed to launch “very soon.”

However, trouble in Shiba Inu’s paradise strikes harder with Voyager, the now bankrupt crypto hedge fund, massively selling off their Shiba Inu assets. Indeed, the lost bullish momentum for Shiba Inu has resulted in a 14% decline. At press time, the canine coin ranks at #15 and trades at $0.00001132, according to CoinGecko.

On the Flipside:

  • SHIB: The Metaverse has been in development for two years in partnership with The Third Floor.
  • Only conceptual artwork of Shiba Inu’s Web3 project has been unveiled, as SHIB: The Metaverse cannot go live without Shibarium.
  • Many members of the SHIB Army are asking for a livestream for the upcoming events, but with no response so far.
