  • Shiba Inu’s AI partner releases a new version of the Bad Idea AI chatbot.
  • The 4.2 version expands beyond Shibarium, according to the dev team.
  • Shibarium L2 is aspiring to onboard over 1,000 new projects this year.

Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) artificial intelligence partner, Bad Idea AI (BAD), emerged last year as a pivotal piece of Shibarium’s puzzle. Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 scaling solution shook hands with the BAD chatbot last year when the AI bot first emerged on Shiba Inu’s Telegram to give ideas about the Shiboshis NFT breeding mechanism in the Shiba Eternity card game.

Later, Shiba Inu developers affirmed that the Bad Idea AI chatbot will be used to examine upcoming Shibarium L2 projects before they are deployed on the mainnet. As Shiba Inu’s team aspires to onboard over 1,000 new community-built projects on Shibarium L2, Bad Idea’s machine-learning algorithm will be fundamental for quality control on the network.

Bad Idea’s team launched the brand new 4.2 version of its AI chatbot to meet this requirement. After adding new custom modes and fixing a few minor bugs, the new version is set to answer the questions of builders wanting to deploy on Shibarium L2 while also helping other crypto communities with the capability of “assuming a persona unique to their community.”

Secret BAD Initiatives On Shibarium

Shibarium’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, disclosed working with Bad Idea’s AI team in October of 2023, hinting at secret and not-so-secret initiatives involving the two parties. Back then, Bad Idea presented “The Consortium of AI for Humanity’s Advancement” (COINAHA) to blend artificial intelligence, the power of DAOs, and memes in a perfect balance.

Due to the involvement in Shibarium, BAD token inked a deal with the Swiss blockchain hardware manufacturer Tangem for a BAD-branded card-shaped cold wallet. With this successful partnership, BAD collected a few notable listings, namely LBank as the first major listing, later followed by Bitget and Poloniex.

While Shibarium continues to expand, some Shibarium projects have already employed the new version of BAD in their latest ventures. To illustrate, the ambitious K9 Finance DeFi project announced the partnership with Bad Idea’s V 4.2 chatbot on January 30, 2024.

On the Flipside

  • Bad Idea AI’s native coin has a market capitalization of $11,277,355, a fraction of Shiba Inu’s $5 billion cap.
  • BAD token dropped 89.2% from its all-time high set on August 13, 2023, and trades outside the TOP 1000.

Why This Matters

Bad Idea AI chatbot has become a critical part of Shibarium’s evolution, as the machine learning algorithm is responsible for providing research to builders and examining the eligibility of new projects on the Layer-2.
