Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) custodians now have the opportunity to change their long cryptographic wallet addresses to a memorable alternative, thanks to the partnering D3 Global company. The Web3 startup had announced the Early Access launch of Shiba Name Day, a campaign dedicated to the SHIB Army.
This comes as an all-around decentralization quest for the Shiba Inu Ecosystem, which involves a self-sovereign decentralized identity that enables the Web3 user to have the same customized name across multiple decentralized applications (dApps), email clients, hosting servers, social networks, and so on.
The development hasn’t gone unnoticed by prominent figures across the cryptosphere. BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes praised the partnership between SHIB and D3 Global, concluding that “Dog money is taking over the internet.”
How to Get Your Paws on the 69% Discount
The heavily teased domain name project first comes in an Early Access mode, which offers a special 69% discount. This discount code can be applied on D3 Global’s page when picking the available SHIB domain names. After adding the selected domain names to the shopping cart, a user can enter the code SHIBARMY to receive the exclusive 69% discount.
Once the crypto aficionados choose their preferred payment method, the entered SHIBARMY code will be redeemed, and the voucher code will be applied to the final price of this deal. Currently, there are two types of .SHIB names: Standard and Premium tier domains. For Standard, the regular price is $10, and it includes names longer than four characters.
Premium tier domain names cost $50, excluding the 69% discount for SHIB Army. These highly demanded customizable names are usually shorter than the Standard ones. For instance, Earn.SHIB, Loan.SHIB, or Voice.SHIB are some Premium-tier examples.
