  • SHIB Token has been onboarded to the entertainment industry’s dream team at CDSA.
  • Shibarium developers will build artificial intelligence-based risk management solutions.
  • Shytoshi Kusama explains why the deal is pivotal for the Shibarium Ecosystem.

Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) decentralization quest entered a new level as SHIB Token shook hands with the Content Delivery and Security Association (CDSA). By doing so, Shiba Inu joins the likes of Apple, Amazon, BBC, Disney, Hasbro, Lego, Legendary, NBCUniversal, Netflix, and Technicolor in a worldwide consortium focused on maintaining content authentication, protection, and security.

The move is set to significantly improve the security of Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 chain Shibarium. On Thursday, Shibarium’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, expressed enthusiasm about joining the CDSA.

“We look forward to providing a unique and blockchain-first perspective to CDSA’s work in helping media and entertainment executives better utilize these innovative technologies, especially as blockchain and artificial intelligence converge,” shared Kusama.

Shibarium Devs Address Key Development Challenges

The arrival at the board of CDSA marks a key milestone for the blockchain industry, as Shiba Inu’s Shibarium L2 is the first Layer-2 scaling solution to join the all-star roster of the media and technology consortium. Focusing on emerging artificial intelligence (AI) and content distribution, Shibarium L2 provides CDSA with plausible solutions to AI-driven concerns.

Shibarium’s developers mentioned that most AI learning machines are normally trained on publicly available content, which could accelerate the dangers of plagiarism, deep-fake videos, and impersonation, leading to digital identity theft.

Shiba Inu’s Shibarium L2 could facilitate controlling the luring risks of phishing attacks, false information, and plagiarism detection due to blockchain’s transparency and the ability to store data on-chain without the possibility of wiping it out later.

On the Flipside

  • Previously, Shiba Inu (SHIB) also struck a deal with the Web3 domain company D3 Global to apply for a DNS-compatible Top-Level Domain (TLD).
  • If the application is granted, SHIB will become the first crypto community to have an all-around .SHIB suffix across different versions of the internet.

Why This Matters

Founded in 1998, the Content Delivery and Security Association (CDSA) tackles the media and entertainment industry’s biggest underlying challenges. Acknowledging Shiba Inu as a valuable member, the collaboration could serve as an important breakthrough for blockchain adoption.
