  • LUNC community engineer shared a sneak peek of Block Entropy.
  • The AI App Chain could partially operate as soon as this month.

Edward Kim, an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Drexel University and a Terra blockchain engineer, recently announced that the AI app chain is still being built but could launch soon. The engineer took to Twitter to share the whitepaper of Block Entropy, the AI app chain.

While the full version of this powerful toolset is to assist the embattled Terra blockchain and the drowning Terra Luna Classic (LUNC), the AI application chain will have some unprecedented features. For instance, the testnet version due to launch by the end of May 2023 will include AI image diffusion, text language models & AI music generation.

During the phased launch of the Block Entropy AI application chain for Terra, the computer scientist plans to roll out features like fine-tuning, distributed training, Python APIs, SNARK verification, and more. Interestingly, Block Entropy also includes the LUNC Burn Faucet, which is expected to significantly reduce the circulating supply of $LUNC.

How to Gain Block Entropy Access

To check out the testnet, crypto enthusiasts must send Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) tokens to a specific burn address, which Mr. Kim will reveal. This also works as an introduction to the LUNC Burn Faucet, which the community counts on to help revive the altcoin’s market price.

According to Edward Kim, the desired amount of LUNC in the Burn Faucet will equal the testnet tokens received. As it’s a testnet, these tokens won’t hold value on external blockchains. The testnet tokens on Block Entropy can be used for any available machine-learning activities.

Furthermore, the engineer assures some modules of Block Entropy are already fully finished. For instance, Interchain Accounts (ICA) will likely be implemented on Terra blockchain’s mainnet soon if the governance proposal is passed per the Joint L1 Task Force Team.

On The Flipside

  • Terra Luna Classic (LUNC) fell 16.3% in the last 30 days, despite heavy LUNC burning community efforts in April.
  • Binance also burned 1.279 billion $LUNC tokens on May 1st, 2023, but without any significant impact on the $LUNC price.

Why You Should Care

Terra blockchain is likely making a switch to AI technology to revitalize the malfunctioned altcoin and repeg the ecosystem’s native stablecoin.
