Cryptocurrency mogul Justin Sun has unveiled the “Tron Anthem,” a thematic track composed by celebrity producer Hans Zimmer.
Zimmer is a German film score composer and music producer who won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score for The Lion King (1994) and Dune (2021). His iconic works include Man of Steel, The Last Samurai, The Dark Knight trilogy, and No Time to Die.

On April 16, Justin Sun took to X (Twitter) and broke the news of his latest project in partnership with Hans Zimmer.

“The future of music is NOW! 🚀 I’m thrilled to partner with the legendary @HansZimmer to create the #TRONAnthem. This is a groundbreaking fusion of music and blockchain. Get ready to experience the sound of tomorrow,” Justin Sun wrote.
In a separate post, the Tron DAO lauded the anthem, noting that “it isn’t just a soundtrack” but a masterpiece inspired to create the “ultimate music experience.”
The almost three-minute song features a smorgasbord of Zimmerian staples, including choral moaning, escalating waves of string instrumentals, and climactic drum beating, reminiscing the thematic music of a fantasy video game.
While Tron revealed that the anthem has been in the works for over two years and is meant to “inspire the community,” it’s unclear whether Zimmer was paid to create such a theme or volunteered to complete it.

If the composer had been paid an undisclosed sum, it wouldn’t have been the first time Sun had dug into his pockets to get closer to influential figures. The Tron founder reportedly spent $4.5 million in 2020 to eat dinner with Warren Buffett.
