Just 2,110 XRP Puts a Wallet in the Top 10%, Host Says

Edo Farina says a wallet holding 2,110 XRP would rank among the top 10% of XRP Ledger addresses, using a delayed September “rich list” update to argue that distribution data and on-chain activity may offer clues about market positioning.

The YouTube show host cautioned that wallet rankings should not be confused with rankings of individual investors. Many XRP users maintain several addresses; the commentator said they personally use more than 15 wallets and suggested a typical holder may use two or three.

That makes the figures a measure of wallets, rather than a clean estimate of how many people own XRP.

Wallet thresholds show a steep climb toward the top

According to the figures cited by Edo Farina, 7,450 XRP is needed to enter the top 5% of wallets, while 10,214 XRP would place an address in the top 4%. The thresholds rise to 13,949 XRP for the top 3%, 21,628 XRP for the top 2%, and 44,237 XRP for the top 1%.

The show host said wallets above the top 0.5% are likely dominated by institutions, custodians, over-the-counter desks and founder-linked holdings, although no supporting wallet-level classification was provided. Mr. Farina also repeated an earlier claim that accumulation by large wallets had helped signal a major XRP move months ago.

In the market snapshot provided during the YouTube video episode, XRP was attempting to hold above $1.40 while Bitcoin traded near $80,000, described as a critical support level.

The host said the next opening of the S&P 500 could offer a clearer indication of broader risk appetite.

Tokenized stocks become the bigger XRP argument

The video then shifted to tokenized stocks and real-world assets, citing remarks attributed to SEC Chair Paul Atkins about an “innovation exemption” intended to facilitate on-chain trading of certain tokenized equities after Congress reportedly failed to advance the CLARITY Act.

The presenter’s central thesis was that around-the-clock settlement could reduce reliance on intermediaries such as escrow providers and pre-settlement services. A clip featured in the video described crypto rails as a way to exchange value between currencies continuously, using assets such as XRP as a bridge between fiat markets.

Edo Farina argued that tokenized assets and stablecoins now issued on the XRP Ledger could increase network activity because transactions require XRP fees to execute. He characterized XRP as the “gasoline” of the ecosystem and said the ledger’s fast finality could appeal to institutions seeking 24/7 trading infrastructure.
