XRP and Stellar Lumens (XLM) are both pressing against key technical levels as the broader market remains cautious. XRP is back near a support zone it has defended before, while XLM coin sits on the lower boundary of a multi-month symmetrical triangle on the weekly chart.

The two setups highlight different stages of compression, with traders watching whether either can convert nearby support into a meaningful move higher.
XRP returns to the 50% retracement level at $1.29
XRP is currently trading around $1.33 after retesting the 50% Fibonacci level near $1.29, an area it held in both September and October, 2026. The daily chart shows price still inside a broader corrective structure, with no higher high established yet.
A sustained break above roughly $1.40 would be the first clear sign that bulls are taking control, potentially opening the door to higher Fibonacci extension zones.
Until that happens, another dip inside the current range remains possible, and a loss of the $1.29 area would weaken the near-term structure.
XLM defends the lower edge of its weekly triangle
On the weekly chart, XLM is testing the lower boundary of a symmetrical triangle that has been forming for an extended period. Price is currently near $0.17, holding the rising support line that has been tested multiple times.
The compression is entering a tighter phase, with the pattern’s upper and lower boundaries converging.
Analysts watching the setup have outlined successive targets at $0.22, $0.30, $0.45, and $0.64 if the token can maintain the base and eventually break higher.
A confirmed weekly close above the triangle would strengthen the bullish case, while a clear loss of the lower trendline would undermine the structure.
Both OG altcoins sit at fundamental decision points
XRP’s immediate focus is whether the $1.29 zone continues to hold and whether price can reclaim the $1.40 area to shift momentum. XLM’s case rests on defending the weekly triangle’s lower boundary while the pattern continues to compress.
In both instances the crypto charts show price at levels that have previously mattered, but neither has produced a decisive breakout or breakdown yet.
Crypto traders are therefore treating the current zones as the key lines that will determine whether the next significant move develops to the upside or remains range-bound for longer.
