Bored Apes Team Up With Luxury Watchmaker TIMEX To Bring 500 BAYC Watches

The American-Dutch watchmaker TIMEX has stepped into Web3 with the help of Bored Apes NFTs. Now any proud owner of the most successful NFT collection, the Bored Apes Yacht Club, will be able to show off their owned Ape on a TIMEX timepiece.

To get one, NFT enthusiasts will have to mint a Timepiece Forge Pass NFT for two Ethereum (ETH), which equals nearly $2,600 at the time of this publication. Secondly, after the 500 Forge Pass NFTs are sold out, the NFT owners will be able to design their own timepieces on TIMEX’s website. To illustrate, crypto fans can choose etchings, straps, and cases. On top of that, every owner of the 500 Bored Apes Yacht Club x TIMEX watches gets an NFT identical to the owned timepiece.

TIMEX – the Timekeepers of the Metaverse?

The brand new Bored Apes NFT watch collection has been in the spotlight at Art Basel, the international art fair. Held in Miami Beach, the new TIMEX BAYC watches were presented in a private event called TIMEX Lunch. A couple of the models were shown during the event, while guests were able to purchase the Timepiece Forge Pass NFT for a pre-sale price.
