XRP’s Rich List Just Got Crowded: New Entry Ticket Revealed

Despite wallet growth, the flashy badge of a ten-per-center is within reach for a couple of thousand bucks.

XRP’s Rich List Just Got Crowded: New Entry Ticket Revealed

The XRP Ledger has pushed past 8 million funded accounts, and a viral rich-list snapshot from account Sunny Girl put a new scoreboard in front of holders: 3,333 XRP for the top 10%, 10,596 for the top 5%, 64,076 for the top 1%, and 4.28 million for the top 0.1%.

Those figures are circulating as a status check. They are not the only ledger read. Independent XRPL snapshots around the same week put the bars lower — closer to about 2,120 XRP for the top 10%, 7,440 for the top 5%, 44,500 for the top 1%, and roughly 277,000 for the top 0.1%.

The direction is the same either way. More wallets are open. The amount you need to look “rich” on a percentile chart has been sliding as the base grows.

Eight Million Wallets Is The Real Kicker

Funded-account counts now sit a little above 8.1 million. That is a network-breadth story first. Years ago the same top-10% seat took closer to 4,000 XRP. Dilution across more addresses, not a sudden even split of supply, is what pulled the line down.

Most of those accounts are small. Ledger band data shows a huge mass of wallets in the 1–100 XRP range and a thin layer of very large balances at the top. The top 1% of funded accounts still control about 92% of the XRP sitting in funded wallets. Median holdings are near 20 XRP.

A “top 10%” badge can look impressive on social media and still be a few thousand dollars at current prices around $1.40.

Percentiles Are Not The Same As Power

That is the trap in rich-list posts. Ranking among accounts is not the same as owning a meaningful slice of supply. Exchange wallets, Ripple escrow accounts and a handful of 1-billion-plus balances sit in a different universe from a retail holder with 3,000 XRP.

Sunny Girl’s 4.28 million XRP cut for the top 0.1% is far steeper than the ~277,000 figure on live ranking pages. Methodology, whether escrow is counted, and whether exchange omnibus wallets are treated as single accounts can swing those top-tier numbers hard. Treat the viral table as a conversation starter, not a settlement file.

What It Means For Holders Watching $2

A wider account base can support the adoption narrative that sits next to ETF flows and futures volume. It does not, by itself, clear the $1.60–$1.86 supply shelves that capped the last bounce.

The useful read is simple. XRP’s holder map is broader and still top-heavy. Getting into the top 10% of wallets is cheaper than it used to be. Getting into the group that actually moves the float is not. Rank is a vanity metric. Concentration is the market one.
