XRP could recover toward $1.44–$1.45 if it holds a reclaim of the $1.34–$1.36 zone, according to a prominent analyst reviewing its price structure and derivatives positioning. The central claim: improving market conditions have made last week’s bearish move look less convincing, though a sharp rally is not the base case.

That price band is the immediate test. Moving back above it would return XRP to its previous trading range and strengthen the argument that the earlier breakdown was a “fake-out,” rather than the start of a sustained decline.

Fresh leverage supports the recovery case

Cilinix points to a strong bounce in XRP against bitcoin, suggesting the token has gained relative strength. Alongside that move, the order-flow charts show rising open interest and cumulative volume delta, which the speaker interprets as fresh buying and leveraged participation.

Funding rates are no longer negative, but were declining during the review. The analyst would prefer negative funding, yet argues that the positioning shown does not appear overbought or excessively leveraged.

“Leverage is not necessarily a bad thing,” Cilinix says, describing it as capital willing to take on additional risk. That distinction matters: the bullish reading rests on buying participation without an obvious buildup of crowded positions.

The upside case still depends on fragile conditions

The broader backdrop is less certain. Cilinix cites lower oil prices and a subdued volatility index as signs of improvement linked to geopolitical developments, while repeatedly warning that those conditions remain fragile.

On the current four-hour price chart, XRP was approaching the previous month’s value-area low and the previous quarter’s volume-weighted average price.

The analyst said the seven-day rolling VWAP sat near $1.32, identified as a potential pullback reference, while the 90-day rolling VWAP could present resistance.

The forecast is therefore conditional: hold the reclaim, keep the external backdrop relatively supportive, and a return toward the range midpoint around $1.44–$1.45 becomes plausible.
