Shiba Inu (SHIB) Main Developer Wants to See Shibarium Arena in Miami

Shytoshi Kusama asks the Miami Heat to honour Shiba Inu by renaming the home venue to Shibarium Arena.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) Main Developer Wants To See Shibarium Arena In Miami

FTX Arena, the home of the Miami Heat, begs for a name change these days as the fallen FTX crypto exchange went bankrupt in a quickly escalating series of events. Hence, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of the Shiba Inu (SHIB) team, took to Twitter to call for the Miami Heat to change the name of the venue into the “Shiba Inu Arena.”

Unsurprisingly, the polite request left rival Dogecoin (DOGE) founder Billy Markus appalled. However, one member of the SHIB Army suggested it should instead be the “Shibarium Arena” which Mr. Kusama acknowledged to be “a great idea.”

Just last week, SHIB launched a dedicated Twitter profile for Shibarium – an informational center of sorts, along with a social hub. What’s more, the developer team has been working on the forthcoming SHIB: The Metaverse, with several key HUBs unveiled already. However, the date of Shibarium launch wasn’t revealed, nor was there any potential launch date for SHIB: The Metaverse.

On the other hand, the number of SHIB holders is growing exponentially. Ethereum’s (ETH) TOP 100 whales are meanwhile still hoarding plenty of SHIB themselves.

Double Digits In The Red For SHIB

At press time, the SHIB Army’s beloved canine token is changing hands at $0.00000921, according to CoinGecko. SHIB was slapped around by the merciless bears of the ongoing crypto winter all week to a shocking 22% deficit. In addition, the last 24 hours signals another 1.3% in the red, while in yearly terms the loss records an eye-watering 82.2%.
