  • Shytoshi Kusama and Shibarium’s developers fought over the weekend.
  • Kusama’s creation of a new Telegram for Shibarium sparked the altercation.
  • A Twitter poll suggests Shytoshi Kusama should remain the main developer.

The huge Shiba Inu community on Discord had a fiery argument over the weekend. A faction of the SHIB Army fulminated against “The hostile Shiba Inu takeover” by the lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, at whom official core team member ShibaKraken took shots on Twitter.

After distancing himself from Shiba Inu’s new Telegram channel, Shiba Kraken elaborated on his nuisance with Shytoshi ‘Ultra Ego’ Kusama:

“He's not even a developer. Let this be clear.. SHYTOSHI HAS NOTHING to do with Shibarium. That's Kaal, Eric and Xfund.”

Shortly after, lead developer Shytoshi Kusama fired back at ShibaKraken. “I see they named that new Covid strain after you. Please stay away. I don’t want any issues in the Shibarium group. Thanks.”

Divide and Conquer Method for SHIB?

The heated discussions on SHIB Token’s official Discord server and Subreddit were highlighted by a squabble between Shytoshi Kusama and another prominent SHIB developer, Trophias. A well-known member of the SHIB Army, Trophias has control over Shiba Inu’s Discord and plays a key role in Shibarium’s coding.

The fiery dispute saw its culmination when several members questioned the need for a new Telegram channel for SHIB. Later, Shytoshi Kusama insisted that he was not here “to discuss his strategy” and reassured that the old channel wouldn’t be deleted.

Kusama Sends SHIB Queenie Packing

Beside Trophias and ShibaKraken, SHIB Queenie is another well-known figure of the SHIB Army kissed goodbye by Shytoshi ‘Ultra Ego’ Kusama. The crypto influencer, with 47,700 followers on Twitter, posted a digital artwork piece of a girl looking out the window on a starry night right after she was shown the door by Kusama.

In response to this, some members of Crypto Twitter blasted Shytoshi Kusama for having a “megalomaniac personality.” They added that “his severe paranoia definitely helped.”

Finally, one of the TOP 100 most popular crypto influencers, Lucie Sasinkova, took to Twitter to ask the SHIB Army whether the mysterious Shytoshi Kusama should remain the head of Shiba Inu’s dev department.

Ultimately, a whopping 92% voted for Shytoshi Kusama to remain in the leading position, while just 8% were opposed. “It must be the Discord gang,” – Ms. Sasinkova remarked. Other members of Crypto Twitter continuously bashed SHIB Queenie and Trophias for “only caring about money.”

On the Flipside

  • Many members of the Shiba Inu Subreddit claim that SHIB Token’s Discord moderators are “hostile” as well as “arrogant.” One prominent member of the SHIB Army even went as far as to say, “ShibaKraken needs to shut the hell up and quit being a drama queen.”
