Shib.io, the official website behind SHIB Token, has launched a free giveaway contest for all meme lovers. Starting Thursday, canine coin fans can compete for $250 paid out in Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), as well as an exclusive Shibacals hoodie.

Here’s how crypto enthusiasts can enter this contest by Shiba Inu:

  1. Hop on the official Shibarium Tech Discord server and find the freshly-created channel #ShibXMemewar.

  2. Create an original meme that depicts SHIB.io’s supremacy over X, previously known as Twitter.

  3. Post your meme in the Discord channel – the three memes with the most engagement will be reposted on Shytoshi Kusama’s Twitter account.

  4. Encourage your followers to like and comment on the posted meme – the engagement will count towards your score.

Shiba Inu’s Meme Clash X-Plained

The lighthearted meme contest as the Shiba Inu community looks forward to Shibarium mainnet, set to drop on August 15-16th, 2023, during the annual Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, Canada.

On Wednesday, Shiba Inu’s key developer Shytoshi Kusama took to Discord to announce that Shibarium “is and will forever be greater than X or any token that makes you scan your eyeballs, or whoever else they try to drum up against this global army.”

“The secret ingredient? IT – IS – YOU”, he adds, again highlighting Shiba Inu’s quest for true decentralization, where the SHIB Army can regain control of their data. Shiba Inu’s developer team recently introduced the SHIB SSI to instill this principle.

SHIB SSI is a decentralized personal identification protocol for all the products across Shiba Inu Ecosystem, which will be introduced after Shibarium’s mainnet is fully launched. However, Shiba Inu has made strides for decentralization already – SHIB Token teamed up with the Swiss hardware wallet manufacturer Tangem to launch Shiba Inu card-shaped cold wallets.
