Shiba Inuโs (SHIB) official fast food chain, Welly Friends, is opening a second shop in Reggio Emilia, Italy. The mouth-watering move was announced on X last Sunday, with a 31-second video snippet presenting its opening ceremony, uniting Shiba Inu fans with foodies.
SHIB Army Marks Milestone in Good Taste
The Welly Friends franchise signed a deal with two brothers from Reggio Emilia to set up the follow-up shop last year, marking a crucial milestone in the adoption and utility of SHIB. This new eatery in Reggio Emilia signifies huge progress for the initial food stand in Naples, back when Wellyโs was an unknown brand.
The new fast food restaurant was designed by the award-winning Spanish architect studio MASQUESPACIO. It has over 40 interior seats for guests, with spacious dining areas, curved walls, and neon light boxes to showcase Welly non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on-site.
Welly Friends to Set Up Shop in the U.S. Next?
Commenting on this milestone for the Shiba Inu community, Welly Friends representative Gianmaria DโAniello remarked: โWelly is an experience unlike any other in the world of cuisine and is completely built on the input of customers.โ
DโAniello vowed to โbring this unique, one-of-a-kind experience to more locations in Italy, new locations in the United States, and elsewhere in the world.โ As Shiba Inuโs Web3 ventures have been a catalyst for Wellyโs brand awareness, adopting blockchain to enhance real-world experiences becomes a must.
Shiba Inuโs lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, and Wellyโs DโAniello look forward to employing blockchain technology to provide a farm-to-table tracking system. For now, Wellyโs delicious menu consists of chicken burgers, sandwiches, tortilla wraps, French fries, and a selection of vegan and gluten-free options.
The current Welly Friends menu has plenty of unique recipes. The inaugural Welly shop in Naples has become a landmark for chicken lovers in the area. Flynn McGarry, a renowned award-winning chef, has most of the chicken recipes.
