Ripple’s Bigger Play With XRP As The Flagship
Evernorth’s XRPN has come a long way to make this NASDAQ listing happen. Notably, the most important legal step was completed on September 30, when shareholders of Armada Acquisition Corp. II unanimously approved the merger & corresponding Form 8-K was filed with the SEC, as mentioned in DailyCoin’s previous coverage of the breaking story.
Evernorth’s Founder and CEO Asheesh Birla said the XRPN listing as a way for all types of investors to get regulated, transparent XRP exposure through a public vehicle rather than only through direct token ownership. Meanwhile, XRP Ledger’s getting closer to lending activation.
Presently, two key proposed upgrades are being prepared. The first one, the XLS-65, would create pools holding one asset, while XLS-66 would support fixed-term loans. On October 15, 2026, validator support stood at 60% and 54%, respectively.
These credit plans include high-level risk controls for corporate investors. The lending proposal keeps borrower checks outside the blockchain. It also offers optional first-loss reserves to cover some initial loan losses. Ripple’s tech stack in this way was recently adopted by Stan Chartered.
