Ethereum Could Soon Be the Next Crypto Added to Twitter’s Tip Jar

Ethereum has been hailed for having more functionality than Bitcoin, and its inclusion would make more sense than Bitcoin.

First introduced in May 2021, Tips, a feature on the social media platform, Twitter, allows users to send money to influencers and content creators they wish to support from anywhere in the world.

Currently, the supported payment services are Bitcoin wallet, Strike (Bitcoin Lightning Network), Bandcamp, Cash App, Chipper, Patreon, Razorpay, Wealthsimple Cash, Venmo, GoFundMe, and PicPay.

In September, Twitter announced the integration of Bitcoin into its tipping service. Following the announcement, users gained the ability to add Bitcoin wallets and Lightning Network services to their profiles, allowing them to receive tips from users without any geographical restrictions. Ethereum could be the next crypto to feature to hit Twitter.

Twitter user @CryptoWhale, suggests that Ethereum (ETH) could be the next crypto to make it to the tipping jar. Ethereum has been hailed for having more functionality than Bitcoin, and its inclusion would make more sense than Bitcoin.
