Crypto investment firm Cypherpunk Holdings announced Tuesday that Leah Wald has been appointed its president and chief executive officer (CEO).
Wald, a board member at Cypherpunk for almost three years, is a co-founder at Valkyrie Investments, where she also served as CEO. During her four-year tenure, the asset manager listed five Bitcoin futures ETFs on Nasdaq and amassed $1.3 billion in assets under management (AUM) in a record year.
Wald Steps at the Helm of Cypherpunk
According to the official press release, Waldโs appointment replaces Antanas Guoga as Cypherpunk CEO. Guoga will continue serving the company as a chairman and director.

Following the appointment, Cypherpunk will hold its annual and โspecial meetingโ of shareholders on July 30.
