Bitget Wallet has announced the launch of OmniConnect, a new developer kit for connecting Telegram mini-apps with multi-chain ecosystems.
The tool’s debut represents a significant leap in the integration of Web3 and Telegram, paving the way for the messaging platform to transform into a robust crypto gateway for its over 900 million monthly active users.
Expanding Telegram Apps Utility Beyond TON
According to a statement on September 27, the OmniConnect kit allows developers to link Telegram mini-apps with over 500 blockchains, including Solana, The Open Network (TON), and all EVM-compatible networks.

Bitget Wallet COO Alvin Kan said the connection will allow users to leverage its Web3 storage solution to sign and execute transactions across multiple blockchains, extending support beyond TON.
“Previously, Telegram Mini-Apps could only interact with the TON network, making it difficult to engage with other public chains. Bitget Wallet's OmniConnect aims to bridge this gap, enabling seamless multi-chain interaction via Bitget Wallet,” Kan stated.
Per the statement, OmniConnect’s technology will extend beyond the Telegram mini-apps as part of Bitget Wallet’s broader mission to onboard a billion social platform users onto the Web3 landscape. The dev kit will soon support mobile applications, browser plugins, and Web/H5 interfaces.
In addition to these expansion goals, Bitget Wallet said it was working on more initiatives to deepen its integration with Telegram and support the growing mini-apps ecosystem. The wallet has partnered with apps like Catizen, Yescoin, and Tomarket and is keen on forging other business tie-ups in the future.
