Big Eyes Coin (BIG) Raises $8M to Contest Dogecoin (DOGE) & Shiba Inu (SHIB)

The memecoin race is getting intense with a large-eyed sly cat joining the usual dog fight.

Big Eyes Coin (BIG) Raises $8M To Contest Dogecoin (DOGE) & Shiba Inu (SHIB)

As the dog themed Dogecoin (DOGE) & Shiba Inu (SHIB) lead the memecoin race, one smart cat is close to making a dramatic entrance with $8.5 million raised in just a few weeks. Big Eyes Coin (BIG) has made waves this crypto winter, with the feline meme token netting $8.76 million from its pre-sale campaign.

However, the new memecurrency has a lot of crypto enthusiasts worried due to the fact that it has been in presale for over six weeks, which is irregular in a fast-changing market. On top of that, there’s no info on BIG’s market price. As if that wasn’t enough, crypto enthusiasts warned about another plausible red sign for BIG. Currently, there is no information on the token being listed on either CoinGecko or CoinMarketCap.

The Irony of Memecoins In Crypto

There are a few reasons why the BIG project looks promising. First of all, the cat aesthetic is something that’s almost a sure bet, as cats are universally popular across the internet. The crypto freshman may therefore have a good foundation for a strong community, as already seen in Shiba Inu (SHIB).

However, the newcomer coin hasn’t launched yet due to extreme crypto market conditions, even though many crypto enthusiasts on Twitter believe BIG has heavy hitting potential. For now, it’s unknown when the presale ends, even though it’s already at round six.

Be that as it may, crypto enthusiast Granite a.k.a. Forever HODL, who launched the two-million user strong Crypto Academy, spotted the underlying irony of memecurrencies.

BIG Versus DOGE

To take on the top dog memecoin, BIG has to offer something neither DOGE nor SHIB possess. Being environmentally aware might be one of the reasons crypto enthusiasts are flocking to the large-eyed cathouse.

Indeed, the fresh off the boat feline coin declares itself to be concerned about the environmental issues our world is facing. For instance, 5% of revenue amassed during pre-sale of BIG will be donated to ocean conservation. The Big Eyes Cat Crypto Cathouse claims that they are “saving the oceans to save the fish”, adding “so we can eat the fish.”

On the Flipside

  • Some crypto analysts believe that the BIG presale is likely to be a scam.
  • That’s because the same mailing lists were used in two recent rug pulls – Firepin (FRPN) and Seesaw (SSW).
  • The link to Firepin (FRPN) was disclosed on Big Eyes Coin Telegram, but admins deleted it soon after.

Why You Should Care
