On Sept. 28, data tracker Chainspect said Algorand reached a weekly throughput high of 11.91 TPS while processing 1.03 million transactions in a single day. Crossing a million daily transactions is not a full-blown network explosion, but it is a clean sign that usage is firming up after quieter stretches.
Network activity is waking up now
Throughput spikes matter more when they arrive with actual transaction count, not empty block noise. A million-plus daily transactions, paired with a weekly TPS high, suggests real demand is showing up on-chain.
For a chain that has long sold itself on speed, finality, and institutional-grade design, that kind of print is the fundamental side of the story.

It does not, by itself, reprice the token. What it does is give the bull case something tangible to lean on: activity is rising while the market still prices ALGO like a forgotten mid-cap.
ALGO’s macro target: $25 to $28
Separately, trader Eric Van Tassel (XRPathologist) published a long-term Algorand map targeting $25 to $28. He was explicit about the framing. The call is based on a logarithmic chart and Fibonacci structure, not a short-term breakout level.
At the time of his post, ALGO was trading around $0.12, which is why the target looks extreme in linear terms. His argument is that log-scale Fibonacci extensions have captured prior macro legs in other assets, and that the same framework still applies here.
In other words, he is not calling for an immediate sprint to double digits. He is mapping a cycle-sized objective if the larger structure plays out.
Skeptics in the replies made the obvious market-cap point: at $25–$28, Algorand would be priced like a top-tier global asset. That tension is the whole debate. The chart says extension is possible. The market-cap math says it would require a full-regime shift in adoption and liquidity.
Where the two posts cross paths
One side of the tape is practical: Algorand just handled more than a million transactions in a day and printed a weekly throughput high. The other side is ambitious: a log-scale framework still holding $25–$28 as the macro zone.
Put together, the near-term story is improving network heat. The long-term story is still a high-beta claim that only works if activity, narrative, and capital eventually catch up to the chart. For now, ALGO has the cleaner fundamental spark — and a target that refuses to stay modest.
