Shortly after the lawmakerโs update, the official X page for The Bitcoin Conference shared an announcement confirming the dates for the event.
As the event host, Hong Kong is positioning itself to evolve in tandem with the digital currency revolution. This stance compliments the countryโs longstanding reputation as an Asian fintech hub.

Ng raised the sentiments in a January 11 post, shortly after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs at once.
