Somebody once said that your creation is not yours anymore once you let it go to the public. Even though Elon Musk never created Dogecoin, he did shake up the crypto world, spawning a veritable herd of animal-based meme coins. Though some traders got burnt, it proved lucrative for some others who became doggo millionaires.
Nevertheless, the fact remains that, at the time of writing, Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) hold 11th and 13th places respectively among crypto rankings by total market cap. Now, a new challenger has appeared on the horizon: Dogelon Mars (ELON).

The crypto reached 118th place by total market cap on December 13th, 2021 after the coin was launched in May of the same year. Since release, it has experienced a bottom slide, not to mention a pump-and-dump instance. Yet the coin survived and persevered, surging during October and November. Now, the coin and its traders are observing a slow bear run.
The project claims to be the first interplanetary currency. Moreover, it was announced with the tag of “not a meme coin.” However, as we all know, “give a dog a bad name and hang him.” I swear it’s unintentional… It’s just a saying!
