The Boat Is Getting Overdogged: Dogecoin and BabyDoge Set New Records

For all the lovers of meta-irony and classic literature, the story of Jerome K. Jerome “Three Men in a Boat, To Say Nothing of the Dog” takes on a whole new meaning with the tables turned. In the crypto world, dogs are the ones who take people on a journey with puns and humorous elements, not the other way around.

After becoming popular in spring of 2021 due to the influence of one Mr. Musk, Dogecoin (DOGE) reached a peak price, and this spawned a brood of other dog memecoins: Shiba Inu (SHIB), Baby Doge Coin (BabyDoge), Dogelon Mars (ELON), and many other copydogs.

Since then, DOGE and SHIB have even managed to keep up with the top 10 crypto assets by market capitalization for quite some time.

Recently, as reported by the WhaleStats analytics platform, both Dogecoin and BabyDoge have reached their maximum levels of holders, now comprise 485,000+ and 1,360,000+ holder wallets respectively.
