Even though Shiba Eternity is not on the blockchain, it is linked to Shibarium in numerous ways.

Shiba Inu's SHIB Main Developer Explains Tie Between Shiba Eternity and Shibarium

In the 4 days since the release of Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) official collectible card game, Shiba Eternity, the mobile card game has already reached a number of important milestones. Firstly, Shiba Eternity topped both Uno and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel in terms of becoming the most downloaded game in the card games category.

Currently, Shiba Eternity is being used to test out the upcoming ‘Shibarium’. The crucial Layer-2 update will become the basis for the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem’s upcoming updates, including ‘SHIB: The Metaverse’, the blockchain version of Shiba Eternity, and the $SHI stablecoin. Lead developer Shytoshi Kusama has revealed plans to use Shiba Eternity prior to the launch of the Shibarium testnet.

Shiba Eternity All Around the Globe

Just one day after the international launch of Shiba Eternity, the Shib Army’s card game had an almost-perfect rating of 4.9 out of 5 on both the App Store and Google Play. With the popular dog-themed cryptocurrency boasting a great number of fans in the United States, Lead Developer Shytoshi Kusama shared a video of a child in Michigan holding a Shiba Eternity flyer. The mobile card game is expected to serve a significant purpose in advancing the adoption of Shiba Inu (SHIB), as the card game is accessible to anyone with a smartphone, without the use of blockchain knowledge.

SHIB Burn Rate on the Rise Again

Despite the array of developments in the Shiba Inu Ecosystem, SHIB burn rate figures dropped dramatically over the weekend. According to Shibburn, the last 24 hours have seen a massive 2,212.38% increase in the SHIB burn rate, with more than 46 million of the canine meme coin being set ablaze.

Despite this, the Shiba Inu community’s efforts to burn SHIB don’t seem to be reflecting in the coin’s price just yet. At the time of publication, the dog-themed token, ranked 12th by market cap, trades at $0.00001089, according to CoinGecko. Shiba Inu (SHIB) has had to face the music of the remorseless bear market with a 15.9% monthly deficit, and the popular meme currency is down 1.6% in the last 24 hours to boot.

On the Flipside

  • No date for a blockchain version of Shiba Eternity has been announced.
  • Various users have report bugs & crashes on the game’s Android version. For instance, some players are unable to open in-game chests.
