Popular social influencer and YouTuber David Gokhshtein took to Twitter to state that he is “the unofficial leader of $SHIB.” The assertion has received immense backlash from the SHIB Army, as many members of the widest crypto community beg to differ.

A crypto enthusiast who goes by the name ShibTooShib said “sorry bro, like you and all, but leader is a stretch.” While some comments are harsher than others, a few members of the SHIB Army took the opportunity to ask the self-proclaimed leader of Shiba Inu (SHIB): “Wen Shibarium?”

What does the SHIB Army Really Need?

The founder of Gokhshtein Media added more fuel to the fire by demanding his Twitter audience “kneel before him” six hours after the initial tweet. To that, one SHIB holder replied “I’ll stick with Shytoshi Kusama, thanks”, while a crypto consultant who goes by the handle HaleyHiDef(i) warned Mr. Gokhshtein that he had “crossed the line”, just when the SHIB Army started liking him.

One crypto enthusiast, who goes by the name Shib311, called the entrepreneur out on how he had treated SHIB before ShibaSwap was launched.

  • Despite SHIB gaining social mentions and the boosted burn rate, it hasn’t been reflected in its market price.
  • Friday morning, the popular memecoin still trades below the crucial support line.
  • At press time, the canine token changes hands at $0.00000914, according to CoinGecko.
