BitDegree – a leading name in Web3 education all around the globe – has just launched their latest venture: the Web3 Exam and Missions with the $500K prize pool and free NFT-based certificates of completion. The exciting launch comes after the company has spent 5 years educating Web3 enthusiasts, and researching how students develop digital skills.
Danielius Stasiulis, one of the co-founders of BitDegree, emphasized the importance of this research by stating:
“We’ve been looking into how students learn Web3 for a long time now, and how Web3 education is different from that of the traditional kind. We launched multiple courses, and saw that they don’t work, as a standalone learning material. Web3 natives don’t learn with courses and theory alone, they also learn it by doing. In truth, the Web3 Exam is a natural outcome of our research.”
The research that Stasiulis mentions involved working together with Vilnius University, as well as the University of Tartu. With the Web3 Exam and Missions, BitDegree tackles the major concepts that are key for the Web3 learning experience, such as gamification and incentivization.

Taking it a step further, Web3 students learn by doing, by trying out activities for themselves, and then complementing their experiences with theoretical knowledge. On top of that, unorthodox learning methods (i.e. memes, social interactions) are very effective means to communicate certain aspects of Web3.
Developing a deep understanding of this, the BitDegree team has launched the Web3 Exam as an all-around ideal solution for exploring the area. The first version of the Exam, involving a $500K-worth prize pool, will be running until the 27th of December, 2023. Students will still be able to access both the Exam, as well as current and future Missions on the platform at any time. BitDegree’s goal with this latest launch is to promote Web3 as a technological leap and to provide enthusiasts and industry newcomers with a direct resource to tackle Web3 topics, in a Web3-native manner. Future plans include an expansion of the Mission list, touching on topics such as AI, advanced DeFi, and others related to relevant major technological developments.
