Paris Blockchain Week, the leading international conference dedicated to blockchain and Web3 kicked off with a hackathon on Saturday and Sunday. Challenges were set by Gridex, Solana and XRPL (by Ripple) and Mehdi Labbani of B4Blabs inspired the audience on a Saturday afternoon. Three winning teams all taking a € 4500 cheque home.
The challenges set by Gridex were: “Build a dApp that utilises Gridex’s order books to bring as many CEX users to DeFi as possible” or “Build a dApp that utilises Gridex’s order books to onboard as many Web3 users as possible”. This intriguing challenge was won by the team ‘Etherla Wave – Grindex project’.
The Solana challenge “Scale a consumer dApp to bring crypto to the next 1 million on-chain users” was won by Pay Consent, which was a large team.

The third challenge, set by XRPL was: “Use XRPL technology to bring decentralized solutions to real-world problems.” The Winning project was made by Thomas Hussenet and Maxime Dienger of XRPL Solvency.
As well as the sponsors the judging panel included Justine Destobbeleire (Sia Partners) and Jean Burrelier (SupInfo). The team of SiaXperience managed the whole project.
