KuMining Brings Kaspa Cloud Mining to Users Without ASIC Hardware

KuCoin-backed KuMining launched KAS Cloud Mining today, expanding its multi-asset mining platform to include Kaspa’s native KAS token.

The service offers eligible users access to professional KAS mining infrastructure through contracts ranging from seven to 360 days, eliminating the need to purchase or operate ASIC hardware.

The launch further integrates KuMining with KuCoin, enabling users to manage mining proceeds within the exchange’s existing ecosystem.

How KuMining’s KAS Cloud Mining Service Works

KAS is the native token of Kaspa, a proof-of-work blockDAG network that uses ASIC hardware for mining.

KuMining’s cloud mining service lets users buy hashrate instead of physical mining equipment. Users do not need to source hardware, power or configure mining pools. Eligible users can choose contracts lasting from seven to 360 days. Daily KAS output depends on the purchased hashrate and the product terms.

The service uses a pool-based mining model, which KuMining says provides more consistent and observable output than solo mining. It also follows a “mine first, pay electricity later” model. Users pay the hashrate fee upfront, while electricity costs are settled over time.

The model reduces upfront costs but does not necessarily reduce total mining expenses. KAS Cloud Mining is integrated with KuCoin, allowing users to manage mining output through the exchange without separate mining pools or wallets.

Kaspa Mining Profitability Depends on Costs and Efficiency

Kaspa mining can be profitable in 2026, but the margin is relatively tight and depends heavily on electricity costs and mining efficiency.

MillionMiner’s current KAS mining calculator estimates a KAS price of about $0.029 and, under its displayed assumptions, about $3.12 in daily profit, $94.99 monthly and $1,139.92 annually after electricity and pool fees.

However, the calculator notes that these figures reflect current network conditions and do not include cooling or maintenance costs.

Why This Matters

Cloud mining makes proof-of-work mining more accessible to retail users by removing the need to buy and operate expensive hardware. The launch also highlights growing competition among cryptocurrency exchanges to offer mining products alongside trading and staking services.
