Ripple’s XRP coin just got a brand new utility case in the United States, as Gemini debuted a credit card featuring a 4% cashback in XRP. The new MasterCard was applauded by Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse, who cheered Gemini’s move: “An XRP rewards credit card out in the world?! What a time to be alive, XRP family…”

According to the XRP MasterCard’s terms & conditions, customers can get a 4% cashback on gas, sharing rides and electronic vehicle charging. Wining & dinning guarantees a 3% XRP token cashback, while everyday groceries in physical shops net 2%. On everything else, Gemini’s XRP credit card allows a 1% cashback.

According to the real-time app rankings on the American iOS App Store, Gemini’s crypto exchange just surpassed Coinbase & Robinhood, two mainstream crypto exchanges regulated in the United States (USA). Gemini now ranks 11th, while Robinhood dropped to 18th position, showcasing how one successful product launch can flip the tables around.

Amidst a series of legal winnings, Ripple’s native coin price has recently tapped a new all-time record at $3.65. However, the latest two-week period brought a harsh market correction for most big-cap altcoins, including Ripple coin.
