The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has witnessed some of the most shocking and groundbreaking NFT purchases in the market and one such sale happened only recently. ‘Mega Mutant Serum‘ has been purchased by Taylor Gerring, co-founder of Ethereum, for 888 ETH, which is currently valued at $3.6 million USD as of this writing.
The new collection of mutant bored apes launched in August this year and is known as ‘Mutant Ape Yacht Club.’ The NFTs from this fresh collection provided Bored Ape holders with the opportunity to “improve” their Apes by turning them into mutants. Thus meaning that every BAYC owner can also own an MAYC.
