On Wednesday, February 28, Singapore-based ContributionDAO closed a $2.8 million seed funding round. This strategic financial infusion, led by KASIKORN X Venture Capital (KXVC) in December 2023, aims to boost the platform’s growth and expand its reach across the Southeast Asian blockchain ecosystem.

The funding initiative was led by KASIKORN X Venture Capital (KXVC), the venture capital arm of KASIKORNBANK (KBANK), Thailand’s largest commercial bank. Moreover, other investors include Axelar, Monad, Connext, and a cadre of angel investors.

A significant portion of the investment will be allocated towards bridging the gap between global blockchain projects and the Southeast Asian market.
