Coca-Cola, one of the world’s biggest beverage companies, has announced that it will be launching a Pride series NFT collection in celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community.

According to Coca-Cola, Mnisi’s “artworks are inspired by an enduring idea: that energy cannot be destroyed. It can only be transferred, changed in form, locked up or released.”
Coca-Cola says that the goal behind the Pride NFTs is to shine color-filled light on community members, and to spread a message of love. According to Coca-Cola, each NFT in the collection will be unique.
Pride NFTs to be Launched on Polygon
Coca-Cola revealed that the 136 NFTs in the Pride collection were built on the Polygon network, some which have already listed on OpenSea. The Pride Series NFT collection was launched with a floor price of 1 Ethereum (ETH).
According to the soft drinks giant, all proceeds from the initial sale will be donated to charities serving ‘OUT’—an LGBTQIA+ community and the second-oldest in South Africa.
On the Flipside
