Avalanche’s native token AVAX surged more than 16% on Thursday, testing $30 as trading volumes topped $1.9 billion across major exchanges, highlighting renewed investor interest amid major institutional developments.
Expansion into Real-World Assets
The rally comes as Avalanche strengthens its position in the fast-growing market for tokenized assets.

Earlier this week, decentralized data provider DIA rolled out its oracle infrastructure for real-world assets (RWAs) on the Avalanche network.
The integration is designed to support tokenization of assets such as real estate, commodities, or carbon credits, strengthening Avalanche’s push into a market seen as key to linking traditional finance with blockchain. The move could also lay the groundwork for more advanced DeFi applications and greater transparency in asset management.
Institutional Adoption Gains Momentum
Institutional adoption has also been a recurring theme for Avalanche. SkyBridge Capital confirmed plans to tokenize $300 million in hedge fund assets on the network.
Meanwhile, the Avalanche Foundation is seeking to raise as much as $1 billion through two U.S. investment vehicles that would purchase AVAX tokens from the foundation at a discounted price.
The Avalanche Foundation is still in advanced talks, and the transactions are not finalized, with one proposed $500 million deal involving Hivemind Capital and another $500 million deal with Dragonfly Capital. The initiative, if successful, would deepen liquidity and signal confidence from large-scale investors.
Market Structure and Technical Outlook
From a market structure perspective, AVAX’s surge carried it through a critical resistance zone near $28, followed by a massive $1.43 billion spot volume over the past 24 hours.
If the price remains above resistance, the next targets are in the $35–$37 range, with the potential to stretch beyond $50.
Technical indicators, including rising relative strength and volume, point to sustained bullish pressure.

Why This Matters
The combination of institutional treasury deals, expanded RWA infrastructure, and a technical breakout positions Avalanche as a leading contender in bridging traditional finance with blockchain, potentially driving AVAX to new multi-year highs.
