Introduced by Welly’s, SHIB Token, the team behind the Shiba Inu (SHIB) memecurrency, struck a deal with the Italian-English fashion designer John Richmond back in February 2022. As all eyes are on Shibarium, the renowned designer displayed Destroy Disorientated in Disorder Denim during a denim-themed party at DAZI Milano.
With the environmentally sustainable ripped jean collection in Milan, John Richmond completes the SHIB Rock and Roll Tour in Italy, having already visited Milan, Rome, Naples, Sicily and Puglia.
Great Expectations for Shiba Inu
John Richmond’s Twitter profile was the first one to share a sneak peek of the cyberpunk clothes in SHIB: The Metaverse last year for the WWD Magazine. The Web3 project from Shiba Inu (SHIB) has to await Shibarium’s mainnet launch, while the physical SHIB clothing line is also currently unavailable.
On top of that, there are no updates on R x SHIB NFT Collection, which aimed to pay homage to Grunge, Punk Rock, and Urban subcultures in 10,000 NFTs minted on Ethereum (ETH). In addition to the delay in development, another prominent member of the SHIB Army, Milkshake, left the community after drawing the conceptual logos and designs for the clothing line in mid 2022.

In a recently penned overview of the year, Shy Kusama mentioned that the designs, NFT drops and a big fashion show are still on the cards, but SHIB Token lacked funding to finalize the deal last year.
However, Shiba Inu’s clothing line was still presented during Milan Fashion Week and Shanghai Fashion Week in 2022 and received applause from the community, while the main developer recently revealed that he still hasn’t “given up on seeing a supermodel in Shiba Inu clothes.”
