Bitcoin of America cited the growing popularity of Shiba Inu as the reason for the inclusion of support for SHIB. Bitcoin of America is registered as a money services business with the United States Department of Treasury (FinCEN).

Crypto kiosks installed by Bitcoin of America offer cryptocurrencies in exchange for fiat money and vice versa. However, the related transaction fees can range from 6% to 20%, which is significantly higher than those charged on regular exchanges.

On the Flipside

  • Unlike DOGE, the value of which jumped 20% after being added to Bitcoin of America ATMs, SHIB has continued on its downtrend, dropping 3% over the course of the last day.
