Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, shocked the cryptosphere on Tuesday evening by announcing a new partnership between SHIB Token and Zama. This was first revealed in the latest edition of SHIB Magazine, a digital community newspaper dedicated to Shiba Inu (SHIB) custodians.
According to the 14th edition of SHIB Magazine, SHIB Token has entered a strategic partnership with a leading open-source cryptography enterprise to develop Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) solutions on Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 scaling solution.
Zama, headquartered in Paris, France, aims to pioneer on-chain privacy to protect users from unauthorized access, an issue within the crypto galaxy that has often been stigmatized.

The market-wide adoption of Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) brings the possibility of end-to-end encryption on practically any online activity. In other words, FHE renders the data unreadable to the internet service provider, the culprits, the government, and any other third party.
4 Cornerstones of Shiba Inu’s Enhanced Encryption
The latest partnership with the Parisian encryption firm is the latest element in Shiba Inu’s decentralization-focused technology campaign. While running on $TREAT, the fourth token in the Shiba Inu Ecosystem, Zama’s homomorphic encryption tools have four main advantages:
- Enhanced confidentiality and security: the FHE technique safeguards against luring cryptocurrency scams and phishing attacks.
- Developer empowerment: Zama has a specific list of open-source tools for the developers of Shibarium to use while building on the Layer-2 network.
- Encrypted data processing: Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) allows users to remain anonymous throughout the process due to the computations on encrypted information.
- Prophylactic approach to evolving threats: as artificial intelligence (AI) storms into the everyday lives of all people across the globe, Shiba Inu’s pledge to stay at the forefront of privacy-focused technology can prevent new types of scams, ensuring long-term resilience.
While many crypto enthusiasts are looking for a safe solution to interact with each other and store confidential information, the new deal with Zama is set to meet this demand. On top of that, the Shiba Inu privacy solution by Zama aims to provide liquidity for the highly-anticipated $SHI stablecoin.
Shiba Inu’s stablecoin, SHI, will eventually replace the gas fee token Bone ShibaSwap (BONE). The new cryptocurrency will also likely reward community members on SHIB: The Metaverse or the blockchain version of SHIB’s collectible card game Shiba Eternity.
On the Flipside
- Shiba Inu’s $TREAT is an unreleased token without a particular launch date.
- The implementation of FHE is uncharted territory in the world of blockchain.
Why This Matters
The new privacy encryption partnership aligns with SHIB’s mission to decentralize the internet and provide Shiba Inu’s community with a safe space.
