As the industry continues to grow, taking the spotlight worldwide, there is one burning question on everyone’s lips: what can we expect from Web3 in the next couple of years? It’s exactly this question that will be addressed at the Web3: Impact the Economy Summit on November 9 at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Center in Vilnius.
Investors, technology enthusiasts, legal experts, and business representatives will discuss the possibilities offered by Web3, and particularly the technology’s impact on crisis management,
as we enter a new era of the Internet.

As its organizer, Ms. Skaistė Budbergytė-Zabielaitė, the director of the Crypto Economy Organisation, stated that the conference will bring together Lithuanian and foreign experts to review the ongoing changes in Web3 technologies and share their insights.
How does marketing work in the Web3 sector, and what tools and strategies would help attract new users to this sector? What will our work look like in the context of digitization and the new era of the Internet? Will the potential of the Web3 economy diminish in the shadow of political hostility and weakening business prospects? These are just some of the questions tackled in the program put together by Budbergytė-Zabielaitė.
According to Budbergytė-Zabielaitė, the success of the first Web3 conference demonstrates the relevance of these topics. Building on those positives, the list of participants includes an even greater number of well-known speakers from abroad.
“During last year’s event, we talked about the future. This year, we are focussing on the [current] realities and will be discussing with visiting speakers how Web3 interacts with and enables long-term solutions, the implementation of which should help to ensure a resilient economy in the future. We have confirmed the attendance of foreign speakers, while experts within Lithuania in their respective fields are also getting involved in Web3 this year. They will discuss the application of Web3 and the crypto economy to today's current issues,” the organizer emphasized.
Budbergytė-Zabielaitė reveals that the main speakers include Deborah Perry Piscione, an experienced Silicon Valley entrepreneur and process architect who worked at the White House and now is the CEO at Work3 Institute, J. D. Salbego, the CEO of Moonstax and Hash3 Labs, and well-known mentor for Web3 startups associated with the global accelerator Techstars, and Aragorn Meulendijks, a researcher in Web3, artificial intelligence (AI), and augmented reality.
This conference will also include contributions from Lithuanian experts, featuring the latest insights presented by Mindaugas Civilka, a partner at law firm TGS Baltic and head of the Technology Industry Group, Vytautas Kašėta, the president of the Crypto Economy Organisation; Andrius Bartminas, the head of the innovation laboratory at Super How? and one of its founders, and Gediminas Laucius, the managing partner for legal and tax services at integrated business services provider Lewben.
On top of these expert panels, this year’s Web3 Summit conference is placing heavy emphasis on networking opportunities and gaining new contacts in the community.
“We do not categorize this event to a specific group; it is a community: existing businesses and startups, unicorns and small market players, and all others interested in this field or simply looking to learn more can come along to gain valuable insights from experts and gather a multitude of useful contacts,” enthuses Budbergytė-Zabielaitė.
Educating a New Generation
The conference program will consist of three parts: How Soon Is Tomorrow? Seizing Today’s Opportunities, and Education Prerequisite. The How Soon is Tomorrow? Segment, which is intended to sate like-minded visionaries, will be focused on discussions around the potential of the Web3 sector in the near future.
Meanwhile, Seizing Today’s Opportunities will address what is happening around the industry now, and will bring attention to opportunities that are available, in addition to what can be done, and how people can participate in the Web3 sector today.
The latter part of the conference, dedicated to education, is being organized to allow students, teachers, and higher education representatives interested in Web3 to learn more about the new era of the Internet.
The education element is headed by VU Business School, which participated in the conference in 2022. This year, they decided to become a partner in order to better introduce students and the academic community to the Web3 sector. The organizers are delighted that Western Union Lithuania supports such an initiative.
The conference program is constantly being updated. The conference is powered by its main sponsor: Swiss-based electronic crypto and traditional payment platform swissmoney, and has received support from the Ministry of Economy and Innovation, Lewben, Super How?, and TGS Baltic.
