DecentWorld has been named the most innovative NFT project in Europe. The European Metaverse Summit and Awards 2022 asked select jury members and online users to vote for projects in a range of categories. The ceremony was held in Berlin, Germany, and hosted many prominent speakers, including Sebastien Borget from The Sandbox, and Robert Guenther from Meta.
The Summit brought together some of Europe’s biggest key executives and entrepreneurs in the burgeoning metaverse ecosystem. The summit encompassed more than 120 attendees, featuring 30 guest speakers and 27 VIP Jury members.
The European Metaverse Summit centred around business opportunities in the metaverse, with a unique focus on the European ecosystem, and DecentWorld was nominated in three categories: Top Debut in Metaverse, Top European Metaverse, and Most Innovative NFT Project.
“We are really grateful to have won this title, and to be completely honest, we feel like we deserved it. We worked so hard to make this platform a reality in such a short amount of time, and we feel like this is just the start for us. It was an honour to stand next to some of the biggest metaverse visionaries like The Sandbox and Meta, and brainstorm about the bright future of Web3,” Denis Sergeev, the project’s CTO, shared.

During the presentation, the DecentWorld team revealed some of the reasons why so many metaverse projects have failed to deliver on their promises.

“There’s still a lot of work to be done, and we will continue to build for the future.
