Ledger Partners With The Sandbox to Educate Users About Cryptocurrencies and Security

French crypto wallet company Ledger will use virtual reality to teach users about the cryptocurrency industry.

French crypto wallet company ‘Ledger’ is looking to use virtual reality as a medium through which to teach its users about the cryptocurrency industry. Through The Sandbox metaverse, Ledger aims to help users understand Web 3.0 security, and educate them about self-custodian crypto assets.

The Chief Experience Officer at Ledger, Ian Rogers, revealed the plans at the Non-Fungible Summit, held in Lisbon on April 4th.

Ledger intends to build a hub in The Sandbox, where they will offer useful information to metaverse avatars and provide a gamified form of learning and other interactive experiences. The company is one of the major providers of hardware wallets – physical devices designed to store a user’s private keys. Ledger will give holders of SAND (the native token behind The Sandbox) custom Ledger Nanos as part of the partnership.
