Genopets, a Virtual Pet RPG on Solana, Launching Its Private Beta

The launch of private beta is scheduled for January 20th, 2022.

Even though virtual pet games are already a common genre in the crypto gaming industry in general, finding such games on Solana is still rare, with the only oneto come to mind immediately being Aurory.

Genopets is a similar project on the Solana blockchain. The holder of Genopets NFTs can finally play the private beta version with the launch scheduled for January 20th, 2022.

The game will only be available  for limited amount of time, and is intended to help the devs figure out any potential issues with the gameplay mechanics by collecting feedback from the community.

This being the case, the play-to-earn mechanics will not yet be active. Despite this, developers have promised rewards in GENE tokens for the most active testers. These will be delivered periodically throughout the testing phase.

Genopets is a virtual pet action RPG with crypto economy features. The developers have also worked hard to produce the “Move-to-Earn” concept, which means that the game will encourage users to move and do fitness exercises in order to earn GENE tokens.
