Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume, launched its AI Trading Skills on Friday.
The feature allows users to execute trades, access market data, and manage portfolios using natural-language commands through AI assistants, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, and Windsurf.

AI Becomes a Trading Interface
AI Trading Skills allows users to interact with Bybit across multiple AI platforms. Commands include retrieving live prices, candle data, order book depth, and executing spot and derivatives trades.
The AI converts natural-language prompts into structured API calls, eliminating the need to navigate the standard trading interface.Traders can also place batch or conditional orders through conversational commands.
253 APIs Enable Full Market Access
The platform includes six modules that allow traders to view live prices, monitor markets, and execute orders. 253 API endpoints enable users to chain commands and manage portfolios without using the standard interface.
The modules cover market intelligence, spot and derivatives trading, earn products, and account management. Users can access real-time prices, candle charts, order books, leveraged trades, flexible savings, deposits, withdrawals, and currency conversions.
Advanced features include margin lending, price differential trading, and RFQ options pricing.
Bybit said the AI builds on previous tools, including TradeGPT, and provides end-to-end trading and asset management. The company described the system as a way to simplify complex trading operations through natural-language commands.
Security and Testnet Protections
Bybit said multiple safeguards protect user assets. New users start in testnet mode to practice commands in a simulated environment. All live trades require explicit confirmation, ensuring users retain control over transactions.
Connections between AI assistants and Bybit’s systems use secure API authentication. AI instructions are converted into verified API calls before execution. Reportedly, the system combines conversational simplicity with layered security, giving users confidence to explore AI-powered trading while maintaining full control over their funds.
